He is the son of seven of the late Ben and  Sara Porter. An Oconee native,  and currently a resident of Loganville, Georgia along with his wife, Minister Savitri Porter. Together they have three children Salena, Christina and Terry II. He also has an older daughter Fredrinka of Virginia. 

 

His leisure time is spent playing golf, fishing and enjoying college football.

 

Pastor Porter received his education from Oconee High, one year at The University of Georgia (UGA) and is pursuing a degree from Northwestern Theological Seminary. He has pastored over thirty years and has

been a minister longer. His pastoral tetulage has span over several Churches: Chestnut Grove Baptist of Athens, Georgia, Raymond Hill Baptist of Snellville, Georgia and Appalachee Shoals Missionary Baptist of Bethlehem,  Georgia. Also, he found and organized a ministry, Tabernacle  of Faith and Deliverance Full Gospel Ministries from the ground level that included incorporation.

 

As a man of God, he is led by the word of God, the Holy Bible and  his Holy Spirit. His purpose is to lead as an example, to live holy and inspire others to discipleship.

He has been given the anointing to teach the word,

preach the Gospel and lead God’s people forward into the present age. His desire is to activate God’s powers and

promises for healing and deliverance. Furthermore,  he is compelled to encourage the youth to love God and 

not be ashame to worship him. They are our future!

 

During his pastoral service, Pastor Porter has served as First Vice-Moderator for four years at the Greater Northwestern Baptist Association of Georgia. He has 

facilitated many organizations and ministries that include: Children Church, Outreach Ministry, Food Bank

Ministry,  Women Ministry, annual Couples Conference 

and Retreat, Ministers Training , Audio Ministry  and Building Fund. He has ministered at countless programs and revivals at various churches in the state Georgia and South Carolina. 

 

He is a Husband, Father, Grandfather, Teacher, Gospel Preacher,  Motivator, Pastor and most of all,  a  man saved and filled with God’s Holy Spirit.
